At a Veteran Job Fair, you can begin the selection process with what is normally one of the final stages of a face-to-face meeting with the candidate. We present these events in cooperation with leading corporations, news media, industry associations, veterans organizations, and government agencies. All Veteran Job Fairs take place in major military markets. To attract job candidates to the fairs, we promote the events intensively to our huge database of registered candidates, and we run display ads in major newspapers in the areas where they will take place.

Why Hire Veterans?

If you are not familiar with hiring veterans, we would like to share three reasons why military personnel will make great employees for your organization:

  • Well-trained. Veterans possess skills that are critical for an organization to succeed. They are trained to be mission-oriented and to work as a team. They possess critical skills for organizational success including discipline, responsibility, respect, and unparalleled work ethic.
  • Skills that overlap. Veterans have been trained in specific skills that greatly overlap civilian work. Whether driving an 18-wheel tractor-trailer or leading an organization in an executive position, the military provides people with the training to be successful in trades, as well as the experience and conditioning required for management positions.
  • Diverse backgrounds. The military employs a highly diverse workforce. Approximately 45% of our candidates are women and/or ethnic minorities, enabling you to connect with skilled and diverse candidates through our events.

When attendees registered for the Greater Cincinnati Area Veterans Job Fair , we asked them to let us know what fields they are interested in. The table below is a breakdown of those interests.

Interest Attendee Count Percentage
There's no replacement for meeting potential employers face to face. It's better to have a recruiter in front of you who can help shepherd your resume through the hiring process.
Cincinnati Career Fair -- Army National Guard O-4
Veterans are well trained and can always be counted on to get the job done.
Cincinnati -- Retail Recruiter
This was a well organized, professional job fair. The event planners were all very helpful and provided assistance whenever needed. The event was well attended and generated several high quality prospects.
Cincinnati -- Government recruiter
I've been to 4 job fairs in the previous 2 weeks. I got more than double the number of leads at this job fair than at the previous 4 combined. I've already been contacted by 4 recruiters from this fair.
Cincinnati -- Army Reserves E-4
Definitely a professional job fair. Quality jobs and the employers were ecstatic to talk to job seekers.
Cincinnati -- Marines E-6
These job fairs not only allow you to talk to skilled candidates but even if you aren't hiring at the moment, it's a good opportunity to get your name/brand out there and network with other employers and job seekers.
Cincinnati -- Manufacturing recruiter
If you want the best disciplined people who want to excel at their position, look no further
Cincinnati -- Aerospace recruiter
The variety of employers was good. I have never seen a career fair with so many industries represented. Very well thought out with the veteran in mind.
Cincinnati -- National Guard E-6
I was impressed with the security and the facility -- the indoor, air-conditioned club deck of a major league ballpark! I felt comfortable speaking to company representatives, even if I was not specialized in what they were looking for. It opened my eyes to areas I can grow my interests in.
Cincinnati -- Air Force E-4
